Largesse

Largesse, the fabled holiday planet, is the most visited planet in the Four Gate Federation.

A red giant orbiting a hypergiant star (Munificence) the planet should be completely uninhabitable.

But unknown to the humans who live there, Largesse is the original homeworld of the Molligen.

Molligenic technology was used to partially terraform the surface and then the Molligen all but disappeared, leaving the pristine 'land' behind. The Four Gate Federation's tourism industry was not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

But the hundred billion tourists on the surface have no idea what's hidden under the sands of Largesse.
