Hulker Gates

Hulker Gates are bizarre. They are always created inside the atmosphere of 'red giant' planets, often creating the infamous storm 'eyes' as a side-effect.

The stations themselves are human technology, that are continually 'falling' through the centre of the Hulker device that creates the storms. This is why they are often referred to as 'Cinderwells' in civilian circles.

At the bottom of these storms hides a small singularity which acts as a wormhole to somewhere else in the universe.

Somehow the Hulkers have crafted these wormholes to throw masses the size of spaceships light years away, but anything with a large enough mass, like the Hulker Gate Station, gets thrown up to the top of the storm again, where it falls for weeks until it reaches the singularity yet again. In an endless loop.

Like all of the Gate types, Hulker Gates have random but repeatable destinations.
